Pan Yuliang

Having seen a brooch influenced by the work of Gustav Klimt, Museum curator Jeff Hsu asked Christine to respond to the works of Pan Yuliang (subject of a novel 'The Painter from Shanghai'). This sequence shows some of Mme Pan's paintings and the jewellery works they inspired.

The collection was exhibited in the Capital Museum, Beijing in 2007, alongside a retrospective of Madame Pan’s artworks.
